PRESS NOTE
AURA SOLUTION COMPANY LIMITED ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY PAUSE OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE REPUBLIC OF CONGO AND STRATEGIC REVIEW OF AFRICAN OPERATIONS
September 5, 2026
BRAZZAVILLE, REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Aura Solution Company Limited announces that, following a significant and unexpected change in the personal circumstances of Mr. Kouakou Adou Antoine, the Company has decided to temporarily pause its investment and expansion activities in the Republic of Congo until further notice.
The decision has been taken following careful consideration of the scale of Aura’s existing and proposed investment programme in the Republic of Congo and the wider African continent, together with the leadership requirements necessary to manage such a substantial and long-term institutional commitment.
A CHANGE IN PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Mr. Kouakou Adou Antoine has recently entered a new phase of family life. Aura recognises and fully respects the importance of this personal development and extends its sincere best wishes to him and his family.At the same time, the responsibilities associated with Aura’s investment programme in the Republic of Congo and other African markets require a level of continuous attention, availability, institutional leadership and strategic oversight that cannot be compromised.
Aura’s investment activities involve substantial financial commitments, long-term development objectives, relationships with institutional and commercial partners, operational responsibilities and strategic decisions extending well beyond a single project or transaction.The Company therefore considers it necessary to reassess the current leadership arrangements before allowing the investment programme to proceed into its next phase.
SCALE OF AURA'S AFRICAN PROGRAMME
Aura Solution Company Limited has developed a long-term strategic interest in Africa, with particular attention to the Republic of Congo and the wider Central African region.The Company's programme is intended to encompass a broad range of activities, including investment, corporate development, financial services, media, infrastructure, technology, strategic partnerships and other commercial opportunities.
Such an undertaking requires experienced leadership capable of coordinating multiple activities simultaneously, maintaining institutional relationships, supervising significant investments and ensuring that Aura’s strategic objectives are implemented consistently.
For this reason, Aura believes that the individual responsible for overseeing such a programme must possess the appropriate professional experience, managerial capacity, strategic judgement and availability to carry the responsibility on a full-time and sustained basis.
TEMPORARY PAUSE OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES
Effective immediately, Aura Solution Company Limited is placing new investment and expansion activities in the Republic of Congo on temporary hold until further notice.
This decision applies to the initiation of new investment commitments, expansion initiatives, major transactions and other strategic activities that require active executive oversight.The temporary pause is intended to provide Aura with sufficient time to review its organisational structure and determine the most appropriate leadership arrangement for the next stage of its African investment programme.
The Company will not proceed with major new commitments until it is satisfied that an appropriate management structure is in place to assume responsibility for the programme.
NOT A WITHDRAWAL FROM THE REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Aura wishes to make clear that this decision does not constitute a withdrawal from the Republic of Congo.The Company continues to regard the Republic of Congo as an important market within its broader African strategy and remains committed to evaluating its long-term opportunities in the country.
The pause is an internal strategic and management decision designed to ensure that Aura’s future investments are managed with the appropriate level of professionalism, continuity and institutional discipline.Aura considers it preferable to temporarily pause activities rather than proceed without a leadership structure capable of giving the Company's investment programme the attention and oversight that its scale requires.
SEARCH FOR NEW LEADERSHIP
Aura Solution Company Limited will now undertake a review of potential leadership arrangements for its Republic of Congo operations.The Company intends to identify an individual or management team with the necessary qualifications and capabilities to assume responsibility for the programme.
The successful leadership structure will be expected to demonstrate:
Significant executive and management experience;
The ability to oversee substantial investment programmes;
Strong financial and commercial understanding;
Experience managing complex institutional relationships;
Strategic decision-making capabilities;
Strong governance and accountability;
The capacity to coordinate multiple sectors and projects;
Sufficient availability and commitment to the responsibilities involved; and
A long-term understanding of the African investment environment.
Aura believes that the next phase of its African strategy should be led by a structure capable of operating at the institutional level required by the Company's ambitions.
CONTINUITY OF AURA'S LONG-TERM AFRICAN VISION
The temporary pause does not alter Aura’s broader vision for Africa.The Company continues to view the continent as an important component of its long-term international strategy and remains interested in opportunities across Central Africa and other African markets.
However, Aura considers that responsible investment requires more than financial resources. It requires appropriate leadership, strong execution, institutional discipline and a management structure capable of protecting the interests of the Company and its stakeholders over the long term.The current review is therefore intended to strengthen, rather than diminish, Aura’s future position in the region.
APPRECIATION TO MR. KOUAKOU ADOU ANTOINE
Aura Solution Company Limited acknowledges the contribution made by Mr. Kouakou Adou Antoine during his involvement with the Company's activities in the Republic of Congo.The Company understands that personal circumstances can change and respects his decision to enter a new chapter of family life.
Aura does not wish this announcement to be interpreted as a criticism of his personal choices. Family is an important responsibility, and the Company sincerely wishes him happiness, stability and success in this new chapter.The decision to reassess the leadership of Aura’s African investment programme is based principally on the scale and requirements of the Company's institutional responsibilities, rather than on any personal judgement concerning Mr. Kouakou Adou Antoine.
PROTECTION OF AURA'S INVESTMENT INTERESTS
Aura Solution Company Limited has a responsibility to ensure that its investment activities are managed in a manner consistent with the Company's long-term objectives.Where investments involve substantial capital, multiple jurisdictions, strategic partners and long-term commitments, the Company believes that leadership continuity is essential.
The temporary suspension therefore reflects a cautious and deliberate approach.Aura would rather take the necessary time to identify the right leadership than place an extensive investment programme under a structure that may not have the required capacity or availability to manage it effectively.
NEXT STEPS
During the period of suspension, Aura Solution Company Limited will undertake a comprehensive review of its activities, management arrangements and future investment strategy in the Republic of Congo and, where relevant, the wider Central African region.
The review will encompass the following ten areas:
1. Review of the Existing Management StructureAura will review the present management and operational structure of its Republic of Congo activities, including the allocation of executive responsibilities and the effectiveness of the existing arrangements.
2. Assessment of Leadership RequirementsThe Company will determine the level of experience, authority, availability and institutional capacity required to lead Aura’s investment programme in the Republic of Congo and the wider Central African region.
3. Review of Existing Investment CommitmentsAura will examine its existing investment commitments, projects and financial obligations in order to ensure that each remains appropriately structured and aligned with the Company's long-term objectives.
4. Assessment of Proposed InvestmentsAll proposed investments, acquisitions, expansions and new strategic initiatives currently under consideration will be reviewed before any further commitments are made.
5. Review of Strategic PartnershipsThe Company will assess its existing and prospective relationships with strategic, commercial and institutional partners and determine the appropriate framework for their continuation or development.
6. Evaluation of Future Project RequirementsAura will review the operational, financial, managerial and strategic requirements associated with future projects to ensure that adequate resources and leadership capacity are available before activities recommence.
7. Strengthening of Governance and OversightThe Company will assess the appropriate governance, reporting and oversight structure for its African activities, with particular consideration given to accountability, continuity and effective executive supervision.
8. Identification of Suitable Executive LeadershipAura will identify and evaluate potential candidates capable of assuming executive responsibility for the next phase of its operations, with emphasis on professional experience, strategic judgement, institutional discretion and demonstrated management capability.
9. Development of a Revised Investment FrameworkFollowing the review, Aura may establish a revised framework for its Republic of Congo and Central African activities, including appropriate management responsibilities, investment priorities, operational procedures and strategic objectives.
10. Determination of the Timing for ResumptionUpon completion of the review, Aura Solution Company Limited will determine whether, when and under what conditions investment and expansion activities in the Republic of Congo should resume.
The Company will not regard the completion of the review as an automatic commitment to resume activities. Any resumption will be determined according to Aura’s assessment of the appropriate leadership, governance arrangements, investment conditions and long-term strategic considerations.
Any material decision concerning the resumption of investment activities, the appointment of new leadership, or the future structure of Aura’s operations in the Republic of Congo will be communicated through the Company's official communication channels.
Until such an announcement is made, the temporary pause in new investment and expansion activities will remain in effect.Aura Solution Company Limited considers this review an important step in ensuring that its future activities in the Republic of Congo are undertaken with the appropriate leadership, institutional discipline and long-term perspective.
A RESPONSIBLE PAUSE, NOT AN END
Aura Solution Company Limited considers the present decision to be a matter of responsible institutional management.The Company remains interested in the Republic of Congo and in Africa more broadly. However, the scale of Aura’s ambitions requires an equally strong management structure.
The Company therefore believes that taking a temporary pause, reassessing its leadership requirements and appointing the appropriate person or team is the correct course of action at this stage.Aura remains committed to protecting its long-term interests while ensuring that future investments are undertaken with the appropriate leadership, expertise and institutional capacity.
BEST WISHES FOR THE FUTURE
Aura Solution Company Limited extends its sincere appreciation and very best wishes to Mr. Kouakou Adou Antoine and his family as he begins this important new chapter of his life.The Company fully recognises that family represents a profound personal responsibility and wishes Mr. Kouakou every happiness, peace and fulfilment as he embarks upon this new journey. Aura sincerely hopes that this new chapter brings him and his family lasting prosperity, harmony and many years of happiness together.
Aura also expresses its appreciation for Mr. Kouakou’s contribution during his association with the Company and for the responsibilities he has undertaken in connection with Aura’s activities in the Republic of Congo.While the Company has now taken the decision to cease its investment activities in the Republic of Congo, Aura considers it appropriate to conclude this chapter with respect and goodwill. Professional paths may change, responsibilities may evolve and circumstances may take individuals in different directions; the Company remains grateful for the contribution made during the period of his involvement.
Aura Solution Company Limited wishes Mr. Kouakou Adou Antoine the very best of luck, success and happiness in his family life and in all his future endeavours.The Company will now turn its attention to its broader international strategy and to establishing the appropriate leadership structures for its continuing operations across other markets.
